USC Workshop on Future Directions in Networks, Optimization & Controls
On Thursday, November 18 – the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering and the Ming Hsieh Institute will host the “USC Workshop on Future Directions in Networks, Optimization & Controls.”
Created in order to bring together the best researchers in Controls, Networks and Optimization, participants of the workshop will get to know USC, it’s activities, and be able to provide important input as to the future direction of the field of Controls.
The day-long workshop features speakers from Cornell University, UC San Diego, University of Minnesota, Columbia University, McGill University, University Colorado at Boulder, University of Maryland, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Johns Hopkins University, and Queen’s University. In addition to these speakers, the day will include a poster session and review with posters from more than a dozen post-doctoral researchers and graduate students.
